Notes:

  1. The client is created in Mambu in the state configured in Administration -> Internal Controls: Inactive or Pending Approval.
  2. If the client is created in Pending Approval state, it will automatically be set to Inactive by the Mambu Process Orchestrator (MPO) process, for the loan account creation to be possible.
  3. The loan account will be created in Pending Approval state.
  4. Repayment frequency is defined in Mambu through the following params: numberOfInstallments, repaymentPeriodCount, and repaymentPeriodUnit.
  5. For the repayment frequency to be calculated, the following fields are mandatory in nCino: First Payment Date, Loan Term (Months), and Payment Schedule.
  6. For computing the number of grace instalments, the following fields are mandatory in nCino: First Payment Date, Interest Only Months, and Payment Schedule.
  7. In case of a tranched loan, the loan account is created having a single tranche containing the entire loan amount. The anticipated disbursement date takes the value of the Projected Close Date from nCino.
  8. If the branch at client/group level is changed in Mambu, all loan accounts will be updated with the new value. If the branch is changed from within nCino at the relationship level, no updates will be made to the account in Mambu.
  9. Email address at relationship level in nCino will be sent at Reserve and Book actions.
  10. Before the Reserve action, a loan account can have multiple relationships in the borrowing structure (multiple guarantors and a single borrower). A Relationship that is a borrower gets updated in nCino with the lookupKey. In Mambu, the loan account, will be created under the relationship of type borrower.

In case Reserve loan account fails

When triggering the Reserve flow from nCino, a transaction log is also created. This log holds the transaction status of the flow, along with other details. In case of an error during the reserve process, the transaction log will be updated with details of the errors sent from MPO. Also, Vendor Status and Transaction Status will be set to FAILED.

In order to view transaction logs after an error occurred in the Reserve flow:

  1. First, you need to click on the highlighted menu from the top left and search for Transaction logs

    Find the Transaction logs section

  2. The most recent logs are found on top, generally you would look here first to find the one you are interested in. You can also search by transaction log ID, transaction log name or external ID to narrow down the results.

    Access the Transaction log

  3. Open the log you want to view. For example, this is how a Transaction log created after an error looks like.
